Cardinal and ordinal numbers Números cardinales y ordinales

Cardinal numbers are counting numbers.  Números cardinales son números contables.
1 = one (wan)
2 = two (tu)
3 = three (dri)

Ordinal numbers are position numbers. Números ordinales son números posicionales

1st = first (furst) = primero
2nd = second (secand) = segundo
3rd = third (durd) = tercero
4th = fourth (ford) = cuarto
5th = fifth (fifd) = quinto
6th = sixth (sixd) = sexto
7th = seventh (sevend) = septimo
8th = eighth (eitd) = octavo
9th = ninth (naind) = noveno
10th = tenth (tend) = decimo

Números ordinales usan para fechas, calles y posición.

2nd avenue = second avenue (secand avenu) = segunda avenida

July 3rd = July third (yalai durd) = el tercero de julio.

He was first. (ji waz furst) = Él fue el primero.

Numbers Part 3 = Números Parte 3

La pronunciación de esos nùmeros es muy dificíl distinguir para mucha gente.  Cuando uno dice "19" suena como "90", si no acentua bien.  La diferencia esta en que "19" tiene el acento en la última silaba (nian-tín) y "90" tiene el acento en la primera silaba (náin-ti).  Tambien recordamos que  de"13 hasta"19" termina con (tin) y de "30 hasta 90"  terminan con (ti)
